Cantine Ca' Baradei Marzemino

An ancient grape variety from which over centuries, many offshoots have been produced. Among which, the venetian is world renowned, records of its cultivation date back to around 1550. The variety prefers poor gravel-filled soils, such as those provided by the Piave river. The vines prefer to be fully exposed to the sun yet sheltered from the wind; areas with a mild climate enhance the smoothness of the wine.
